Make Collage Jewelry For Fun

• Pinback or pendant accessories (if making a necklace)
• Quick glue to attach the pieces together
• Pin back or settings and chain to make a pendant
• Acrylic paint burnt umber, red and green 
• Thin line sable paint brush, 1/4" sable flat brush
• Matte craft varnish
• Two round metal filagree findings with pointed edges, one metal round swan charm
• One metal rose bush charm
• 3 charms and 3 jumprings

How To Make Collage Jewelry:  Swan Design  

Cut two roses and one leaf off the rose brush charm.   

1. Use burnt umber and the 1/4" sable brush to antique each of the two filagree backings and the swan charm.   


2. Clean your brush and antique the rose red and the leaf green. 


3. Let all pieces dry and then spray with two light coats of matter varnish in a well ventilated room or garage.  Let dry.  


4. Glue all the circle shapes, one on top the other with the swan on the top.  Glue the two roses and leaves in place.


5. Attach the three charms with the jump rings so that they will dangle.  If they need antiquing do it before attaching.  Glue on any items desired.      


6. When the glue is dry, spray with one or two light coats of matte varnish to protect the antiquing.  Let dry. 


7. Glue on a pinback or attach to a chain for a necklace.
