From The Cicely Mary Barker Flower Fairies Book

Flower Fairies were created by English illustrator Cicely Mary Barker. She published her first Flower Fairies book in 1923; Flower Fairies of the Spring, a collection of twenty-four illustrations. This book enjoyed huge popularity and she later published seven more volumes featuring additional Fairies.

Our licensed porcelain tea sets, eating & toddler sets and gift-ware feature many of the fairies from her historic illustrations. We feature hand-applied, hi-quality printed decals that are fired at 1500 degrees F making them permanent, dishwasher friendly and most important - food safe! Our Flower Fairies sets are not only functional, but heirloom collectibles that will be cherished for generations.
