Dough Art Tools
While specialty tools can make your sculpting easier, and at times more
professional, if you're on a budget you can get by very nicely with
items found from around your home or garage. If you want to
use tools and you're not sure which ones you'll need, use the list
below. I've used all of the tools below and use them in my
instruction books and illustrations. When I first began
sculpting, I couldn't find illustrations anywhere so I created them for
my books for easier crafting.
NOTE: If you've never sculpted before with dough or any clay medium, I suggest that you use my free patterns before you purchase tools to see if you enjoy the craft. Then you can invest in a few inexpensive tools that will give you more professional results. I recommend the tools below that I have used and sold for years.
