Wedding Gift Basket

Make a wedding gift basket and you'll make a great memory for a happy bride and groom.

If you have ever attended a wedding, you know that it is a truly joyous occasion.  However, many people fine the wedding reception to be more fun because they are able to unwind and relax. 

This is also the time when gifts are opened by the bride and groom, one of the highlights of the wedding.  It can be a lot of fun for you if you've given them a personalized gift that you know will be loved and appreciated by them both, not just the bride.  So what should you do?  

Make a wedding gift basket of course!

There are all sorts of ways in which someone can be creative with their wedding gift basket.  It can be from making the actual basket to making sure that they include everything special for the bride and groom to help them begin their new lives together.

Inexpensive Wedding Gift Basket Ideas:

A popular idea for your wedding gift basket theme might be bath products for both the husband and the wife.  You can find out their favorite products before you purchase the contents for your basket so that you can fill it with bath items they will both love and be able to use.

Not only are bath products usually well received but there are a plethora of bath theme ideas to choose from that will help to create a romantic mood. For example, bubble bath is actually something that many couples enjoy because they'll be able to use it together! 

Along with bubble bath you can also buy candles, candle holders, Sparkling Cider and two wine glasses, attractive bath towels, wash cloths, and possibly even a few bars of specially designed soap.   If you want to really splurge you can included robes, but your basket will have to be quite large!

Aside from bath products, though, there are plenty of other things to include with a wedding gift basket. For starters, how about putting in some things that they'll need for their kitchen? Unless one or both of them owns a house with a fully-stocked kitchen chances are that they'll need a few odds and ends to get them started. 

For example, spices and herbs, as well as coffee and teas are a good items to include with the gift basket. Considering, however, that spices, herbs, coffees, and teas should not be the only thing in a wedding gift basket, you could even go a few steps further to include some cooking utensils that they'll probably need as well! This type of basket is good for a very young couple.

Another idea that is popular is a basket filled with delicious candies, perhaps wine or Sparkling Cider, wine glasses, an assortment of gourmet items and a special frame to hold their wedding picture.    That particular basket is sold on Amazon.com.  I've included it on the slide show below of other wedding baskets to give you ideas and to see what they cost.  If you're on a budget, you'll want to copy the ideas shown, but you will need to find similar quality items that will not go over your budget.

Expensive Gift Basket Ideas:

If money is no object you can create a basket that contains any or all of the following items:

• Plane or cruise tickets

• Paid hotel reservations (if needed)

• Paid food reservations

• Paid reservations for side trips

• Gift allowance Debit Card, check, or purchased credit card

• Broadway show

Other items to fill the basket are those that are appropriate to the tickets.  Use fruit if the tickets are going to a tropic area.  Candy, gourmet snacks, tea and coffee can also be used.  Just work around your theme for basket filler ideas.
