Use
our Christmas Gift recipes for Natural skin care you can easily make
from your own kitchen to surprise and delight your family and friends.
If you need a last minute gift, just whip up a batch of
soapsickles or sunblock.

If you love making your own gifts or you want to save money this year, our collection our collection of natural skin care products will make wonderful gifts. You will have to make them at least a day or so before Christmas because some have a shelf life of about a week to 10 days, however, they're quick and easy to make.
To make your natural skin care products even more special, you can use old, empty jars. Take off the old wrapping and add your own creative designs and perhaps a ribbon around the neck of the jar.
And to give credit where credit is due, our list of skin rejuvenating recipes originated from www.SpaIndex.com. We are thankful to them for their generosity.

SUNBLOCK
Our esthetician experts say "If you can see your shadow, you need sunblock." However, did you know the active ingredients in sunblock often dissipate after the season? So, always use a sunblock, but, don't purchase in bulk or save that last little bit in the bottle for next season. Buy as you go, in order to always have a fresh batch, or, make your own.
Note: This recipe will leave a white nose "lifeguard style."

REMOVER - BODY
SUGARING
Juice
of 1/2 a
lemon
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup honey
cornstarch
clean cloth cotton strips
wooden stick or spreader
Dust the area to be waxed, with cornstarch. Combine the first three ingredients in a clean glass bowl, and microwave for two minutes. Stop and stir your sugar mixture every 20-30 seconds. Let it cool to a comfortable warmth, and, using a wooden stick, spread a very thin layer onto your clean skin. Immediately cover the mixture with a strip of cotton fabric. Briskly stroke the strip several times in the direction of the hair growth, and then, pull the skin taut, and quickly rip away the cotton strip, against the direction of hair growth. As you proceed, you may need to reheat your sugar mixture in the microwave to keep it warm. Do not boil it or overheat as you could easily burn your skin.
